Starting out really basic, can you provide a high level description of VENICE FINANCE, Decentralized Exchange!

Alex Park-Hi Everyone, this is Alex Park, Head of Marketing at Venice Finance At Venice Finance, I am leading the marketing and growth team to pioneer and innovate the blockchain ecosystem.I will also introduce myself here.After graduating from USC in 2013, I have spent almost 7 years in the Fintech industry and got involved in the Blockchain field in 2019. Before joining Venice, I was the Chief Marketing Officer for a cross-border payment company based in Asia, where I gained valuable insights on the friction & pain points of the legacy payment system. I certainly understand the need to revolutionize every block in the #TradFi system and how blockchain helps transform it with more decentralization and transparency; also, after so many years of experience dealing with kyc providers and capricious regulations, I also understand the importance of privacy preservation to build a real, open, decentralized financial system.

Venice is the next-generation, Zero Knowledge powered decentralized exchange, primarily focused on privacy preservation, front-running resistance and cross-chain liquidity aggregation. At launch, Venice will be the first front-running resistant, privacy-preserving Automated Market Maker (AMM) Decentralized Exchange (DEX) in the world. Venice is an innovative project on the market that has made huge strides over a short period of time compared to other similar projects.

Crypto admin | @CryptoProfitCoach Never PM for Funds admin- Can you share some of the biggest “lessons learnt” after navigating the crypto ecosystem for over years now? Alternatively, could be lessons learned from your professional experience — but looking to keep it specific to crypto = )

Guest- After getting into the crypto industry, I gradually became interested in smart contracts and realized just how amazing blockchain actually is. I strongly believe that blockchain technology will transform the tech and IT industry in the near future, just like what the internet got started back in the 90s and early 2000s. So I gained rich experience in the Crypto industry especially in DeFi.

Crypto admin | @CryptoProfitCoach Never PM for Funds admin- Could you please give a brief intro of VENICE FINANCE’s sailent features? How it is better from other projects keeping in view features like decentralized exchange solution for Trading and Privacy Together.?

Mr. Alex Park- Well, as the first front-running resistant, privacy-preserving AMA DEX, Venice stands out because of three strength as follows:

1. Advanced cryptography algorithms including Bulletproofs, Turbo-PLONK, MPC, etc. to encrypt smart contract inputs. Venice enjoys a function of front-running resistance and full anonymity to protect users from value extracting players.

2. Community -Oriented Governance as VENI’s innovative deflationary tokenomics design and game-theoretic-inspired mining mechanism guarantees long-term sustainability of Venice protocol. We let venetians collectively decide on the optimum solution for the protocol through farming, staking and voting.

3. Chain-agnostic liquidity hub. Venice allows users to frictionlessly and trustlessly move the liquidity inter-ecosystem without revealing their position or identity.

Mr. Alex Park- Front-running has always been a problem for DEX and AMMs. Front running is when a trader sticks with the deal, watching the price accumulation, and figuring out when to slip past the other traders at the final possible moment to make a profit. Since blockchain transactions are broadcasted publicly, people on the lookout can spot large deals about to take place and submit their own trades to profit from the scenario.

Good news is the Bulletproofs functionality can solve this problem by encrypting the transaction so the transaction isn’t visible to other people’s eyes; which is now being practiced by Findora on its privacy-preserving UTXO ledger.

Venice Finance supports trades/swaps wherein the asset type and amount are masked, effectively removing any chance of malicious users exploiting the system. It also provides an elegant mechanism to prevent front-running while maintaining the ideology behind a completely decentralized and transparent system.

Venice’s beta implementation supports Privacy Loop, leveraging cryptography algorithms including atomic swaps and anonymous transfers to create ZK synthetic assets, which enables a “decontamination” process to help users establish anonymous on-chain identities.

In the next upgrade, Venice will utilize advanced zero-knowledge-proofs, including Bulletproof functionality (a specialized ZK proof), with the EVM ledger using pre-compiled contracts to mask asset type/amount to achieve front-running resistance. Finally, to encourage mass adoption of the Pri-Fi Revolution, V3 will incorporate ‘Triple Masking’ to EVM by leveraging advanced cryptography algorithms including Turbo-PLONK and MPC, obfuscating all smart contract inputs to provide fully-anonymous privacy, allowing a user to make frictionless trades without revealing any info of his identity or position.

Mr. Alex Park- We are an elite group of world-class engineers, researchers, business operators, and investment professionals. The Venice contributors team has more than 80 years of combined leadership experience in fintech, financial engineering, and cryptography, with experience from top-tier schools/institutions/corporates including UC Berkeley, Yahoo, Stanford University, Columbia, EY, Deloitte, MUFG, CITI Group, Plug&Play, etc.

1. Tanmay, engineering advisory. Tanmay has past experience being a senior software developer on OneLedger; Research Scientist for Conduent.

Taylor, a UC Berkeley graduate with an Architecture background who had previously worked as a private consultant for 2 years. Taylor joined Venice to use his project management skills to strengthen the team and help the team work more efficiently.

3. Oleks, front-end engineer. Oleks has 18 years of experience in the IT industry with multiple languages and tools. Before joining Venice, Oleks has past experience in Findora and another blockchain project where he built a wallet and worked a lot on improving and extending their block explorer. Oleks has also implemented Ledge integration into the wallet, and built a wallet chrome extension and worked on maintaining and supporting their SDK.

4. Sergio, cryptography advisory at Venice. Sergio worked as an innovation cryptography manager. He had led a team of developers to implement cryptography algorithms and explored prosing blockchain applications to the business using SAFe methodology for development.

5. Andy, general advisor. Andy Freeman is a lecturer in the Electrical Engineering Department at Stanford and a member of Silicon Catalyst and Sand Hill Angels.

Mr. Alex Park- Farming is Liquidity Mining on Venice Finance, User could provide liquidity on Venice and stake LP token to participate in Farming.

The majority of VENI tokens will be distributed via Community Incentives and Liquidity Mining to achieve a balance of high market utilization and a wide distribution of governance participants. VENI holders can propose improvements (e.g. adjusting pool parameters, integrating new ecosystems) and collectively decide on the optimum solution for the protocol.

Venice introduces unique policy-controlled economic and game-theoretic dynamics into its mining mechanism through staking and voting.Venice has already secured $10 million worth of liquidity and incentives towards the launch.

Mr. Alex Park-Built on the ethos of usability and privacy, Venice is a next-generation decentralized finance (DeFi) platform focused on privacy preservation and cross-chain liquidity & interoperability, to be launched as the first front-running resistant Automated Market Maker (AMM) Decentralized Exchange (DEX) in the world. This means Venice is the first of its kind.

Mr. Alex Park- This is a great question and I strongly believe that the way we handle privacy and security at Venice is very unique compared to other protocols available in the industry.

To protect user’s privacy and security, the transaction you made on Venice is made confidentially and anonymously. This simply means that you won’t be targeted by hackers because hackers won’t know WHO’s making the transaction nor HOW MUCH the amount is being processed. This is achieved by the Bulletproofs functionality by encrypting the transaction so the transaction isn’t visible to other people’s eyes; which is now being practiced by Findora on its privacy-preserving UTXO ledger.

Also, Venice is partnering with top auditing firms including Certik to guarantee the security of users’ money.

Mr. Alex Park-Yes, Venice is 100% community drive projects. It wil be governed by DAO of VENI holders.
